I hesitate to dump onto my site all these photos – most of them with my obtrusive face in the frame. However, family, students and friends seem to enjoy seeing where I have been, and at their request I overcame my hesitation. I do not believe that visiting a place in the flesh makes you an expert on anything, but if your circumstances have afforded you the chance to go places that are of interest to many who will never have the opportunity, I regard it an obligation to share as much as one can. So here they are, for better or for worse. I will soon post my reflections on travel as such and put a link here.
Hesito em postar todas essas fotos – a maioria com meu rosto meio intrusivo. Contudo, família, estudantes e amigos parecem gostar de ver os lugares onde viajei, e a pedido deles, superei minha hesitação. Não acredito que o mero fato de visitar um lugar me torna um expert sobre qualquer coisa que seja, mas quando minhas circunstâncias ofereceram a chance de ir para lugares de interesse para muitos que nunca terão a oportunidade, o vejo como obrigação compartilhar tanto quanto eu puder.
